An event to honor Pete was held on March 20, 2010 at Sunset House. A total of about 180 people attended the event.
Pete was at the finish line for the 5K run encouraging people as they finished. There was a great show of support for Pete and his family. There was also a great deal of generosity shown by participants. A total of $3920 was raised!! A total of $1720 in checks were handed to Sunset House staff, ~$800 in checks went to the family directly and $1450 in cash donations were received. The cash donations will go into a fund for Peter's kids. See below box.
