(April 29 2010) The family have suggested charities for those who wish to donate on behalf of Peter. In addition, with the family's approval, we have set up a college fund for Donovan and Shauna. Please follow the steps below to make a donation.

Sunset House Hospice

Checks can be sent to the Sunset House. The 20 March event resulted in $1720 in donations given to Sunset House on that day, with many follow up donations since.

Donations are tax-deductable.

Then, In the window that pops up,

look for the "Gift Information" section

and the "Comments Box".

In the comments box list that you wish donations to for "Brain Research" and in honor of "Peter Glavin"..

Shauna and Donovan's NYS 529 College Fund

A New York 529 College Savings Program account has been created by the running community for Donovan and Shauna Glavin, ages 11 and 9. An initial balance of $1462 exists from cash donations from the 20 March event. (Please note that while significant tax savings exist for individuals setting up an account for their own family, donations from non-family members are not tax deductable.)

Those from the running community who wish to make a donation (must be $25 or more) may do so by writing checks payable to “New York's 529 College Savings Program Direct Plan”, writing college savings account number 317610956-01 on the check and mailing it to:
